Camp Able - Memberships available for Episcopal Summer Camps for those with special needs

2013 SESSION – "Goin' Down South"
July 17 – 21, 2013 - Ages 12 & Up

Camp Able is located at: St Mark's Episcopal Church (SMEC), Marco Island Florida. All facilities are easily accessible to persons with limited mobility.

ACCOMMODATION: Camper’s sleeping dormitory style with full bathroom facilities. 

FOOD SERVICES: The food at SMEC is first rate. Prepared by our parishioners, with great love and attention to detail and are served buffet style. The menu is varied. There are also salad and fruit bars. Special dietary needs are gladly accommodated. Snacks are also provided. Nobody leaves SMEC hungry.

STAFF: There will be ample staff of qualified adults, as well as a contingency of college and high school aged counselors, who have all received training and most have worked previous camping events.

COST: The cost of the camp is $375.00. A non-refundable deposit of $100.00 must be sent upon acceptance.
There is some limited financial aid available. We ask that you apply for aid only if it is really needed. Full financial aid will pay $275.00, which is the total balance after the $100.00 deposit is paid upon acceptance to camp.

APPLICATION & REGISTRATION PROCESS:

You are required to first complete the Application Form (click here). The application must be completed by a parent or legal guardian and each question must be answered providing as much information as possible.

Camp Able is expected to be filled before the deadline, so we encourage you to apply early. You will be sent an email advising you of acceptance or telling you that you’ve been placed on a waiting list.
